The funding will be available for the study of Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and Quechua. The fellowship assists in the advancement of knowledge, resources, and trained personnel for foreign language and studies, and supports the development of a qualified pool of international experts with global competence designed to meet U.S. national needs.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will host its second annual HSI Conference and Career Expo October 18-20, 2022. Events on October 18-19 will be virtual and those on October 20 will take place at the Biscayne Bay Campus at FIU.
