The Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University is pleased to announce the Miami Premiere Screening of Fatal Assistance, a film by award winning Haitian filmmaker Raoul Peck about the challenging, contradictory Humanitarian Aid and colossal rebuilding efforts following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
With generous support from the Green Family Foundation and in partnership with FIU Haiti Task Force, FIU Haitian Student Organization (HSO) and O Cinema, the Latin American and Caribbean Center, a pre-screening reception of the Miami premiere of the film to be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 6:00PM at the O-Cinema in Miami Shores, FL 33138. The reception is free and open to all tickets holders of the 7:30pm screening.
